Usability & Validation
Key Findings
Users initially struggled with low contrast and text density on recipe cards, causing missed micro-nutrient indicators, alongside an overwhelming nested filter structure for dietary preferences. These friction points were successfully resolved by standardizing token contrast and applying subtle card backgrounds to nutritional progress modules, which reduced nutritional check conversion time from 24 to 10 seconds. Additionally, simplifying the primary filter trigger achieved a 74.8% success rate in narrowing down meal plans.
Notes
Participants successfully navigated the improved macro breakdown and customized meal filters on their first attempt. These results validate the final interface iterations, confirming a successful transition to a streamlined, high-efficiency nutritional tracking experience.
